We are an India-based rug design studio that creates bespoke decor products for modern spaces.

Our designs are products of the places we've been to, the people we've had absorbing conversations with, and art and experiences that left us awestruck. Though inspired by the world, our rugs are produced in a traditional fashion, by experienced artisans in India.

Often what we find in our travels — a colour, texture, or shift in perspective, for instance — gets imagined and woven into what we make.

DESIGN PROCESS

Studio

Measured and handcrafted to elevate your space, not sit on a shelf.

Each Spacewarp is made to match the interiors of your space and the dimensions of your room. When you pick a design — whether it's your own or one you choose from our catalogue — we begin the process of crafting it from scratch.

The rug is then put together by hand, weave by weave, until we get every last detail right. This can sometimes take up to eight weeks, depending on the intricacy.

This is why a Spacewarp is not something you pick off a shelf in a store or warehouse. Like any good handmade object, each rug is singular, and it's made exclusively for you.

CRAFT

Making a Spacewarp takes anywhere between 4 to 8 weeks. A relatively small wait for something that lasts decades.

‍Behind our made-to-order principle is a promise to the planet: to use only the resources we need. The entire process — from design conception and choice of materials to weaving techniques — is as respec towards the environment. you get a new rug, you can be confident that you made a responsible choice.
